a cat, base it off of a cat
a cat wizard, brought by a magic feeling to help the main character
purfect :3
XD
i already have 4 chapters done
Pillow. With A Laser Gun.
a living pillow?
good idea it could be a possesed pillow from the future
A Tabaxi swordfighter with a magic rapier. They can also turn into a green dragon when dancing.
good idea, perfect for a bar themed chapter
All my ideas are for him in my book... This has been quite beneficial for me. WHY ARE AXOLOTLS SO ADDICTING? THEY ARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD AND SOMEHOW I LOVE IT!!! My book wan't even supposed to have animals.
Definitely axolotls are conquering the world just because everyone loves them and they are so cute
hmm mabye a evil axolotl clan?
Great idea comrade
So, it must involve jealousy, multiple POVs and a well developed world, so. Fantasy, dragons. ‘In a land where dragons are thought to be extinct, one brave hero (maybe nonbinary or LGBT for some representation?) must save the remaining few dragons, but there is a great evil going against them, they must go on a long quest to find and save the final few dragons!’
so? How do you like it? They can have a pet axolotl, or the dragons can look like axolotls? :)

good idea
If this is your first time. If not, this still might be helpful.
Create a timeline of events, brainstorm the ENTIRE story roughly before you even write the 1st word, and even better, start with a large overview, then get more and more detailed until you are detailing chapters.
World build before you write. Make maps, make a concrete system of magic, decide what creatures or peoples live where, figure out a guideline of the events and do not write without a timeline of events in mind.
Writing a Novel is a commitment and a half, My sister has written a couple, and each took several years, writing, editing, worldbuilding. It takes time, as a fair warning.
I think these two videos really helped my writing. they might me kinda monotonous, but they have good advice.
https://youtu.be/YAKcbvioxFk- Show, don't tell (how the writing reads)
https://youtu.be/uL0atQFZzL8- 6 questions a story needs to answer. (How to be productive and make a good story)
You can completely ignore this if you want.

i will
pls do ignore it. No offense robo. I didnt do any of that. Yes, i understand some people need that. Yes, i understand that they teach that in school these days. But that is for un-creative people. I had an idea in my head and i went with it one word at a time. My strategy makes for more interesting and funny stories. Like mine.
Sure, you can, and it can work out, but especially in the case of a longer story, you can end up contradicting yourself or getting off track from the goal to the point where you have to backtrack, or in a worst case, restart.
Again, this is just advice, but I hope you can consider it good advice. Also saying that is for uncreative people is very much wrong. My sister is incredibly creative, and writing down and fitting all her ideas together in a system like a jigsaw puzzle brought out the full potential of her creativity.

Right sorry. Should have said some people. My bad.
Also yeah... the contradicting thing is right but i just read the whole story through before i start adding more.

It's best to let authors figure this out themselves. It's a natural process being an author, and wanting to make a large story, then eventually realizing it may be too grandiose for a first try. I understand this came from only a good place, but if someone told me that I will give up on a story without even giving me a chance, I'd be upset. Just saying.
I am saying this from personal experience, since I myself am a story writer.
I never said anything like giving up on a story, Simply that laying out thoughts can keep you form issues in the long run.

Now, If you intend to include dragons, maybe call them wyverns instead, cooler name. the general idea of the difference between dragons and wyverns is dragons have 4 legs and 2 wings, but wyverns have 2 legs and use their wings like arms like bats, but both can be called dragons.
Maybe have Magic, or mysterious pasts or cool places that don't actually exist! be creative!
will it be published?
mabye sometime in the far furture
i have an idea for your book: my idea is maybe the book could be about a person in any school elementary middle school high school except the person changes into a different animal depending on they're mood
