I find the best ideas on image searching google or even just YT. i hear reddit and pinterest are great places too. just search something like "minecraft office" or "minecraft farmhouse" and you'll get a million builds. its bad enough that searching for historical mideaval pictures, u get minecraft even when u weren't looking for it...
Finding and using blocks of similar colour is a game changer when it comes to texturing builds as well as using slabs and stairs to give the build a more weathered look.
