Hey everyone! I am currently in the process of looking for the best gaming PC I can get that is $1000 but stretchable to a little bit over. I made a thread a week or two asking which PC company was the best and decided to go with custom building. Anyway the main point is another user and my friend have both made builds for me. My friend made one for me because he didn't recognize most of the companies from the other one.
PC Requirements:
I'd like to be able to get at least 60 FPS with shaders, max settings, and recording. Is this possible with a $1000 build? I also require built in wi-fi compatibility and if possible a Nvidia card (Watch_Dogs for free! ) I plan on also using a hard drive as my main storage device and not an SSD (Also should I get an SSD and a hard drive and install windows on the SSD for faster boot time? If so what size should the SSD be?) One last thing I plan on using this for more than MC. I plan on playing Titanfall, Watch_Dogs, BF3, and RuneScape and a few more modern games.
Here are the two builds. Which one should I buy? If anyone has any better suggestions please post those also!

Mostly filming Minecraft Machinimas (60 FPS, Shaders, Max settings, etc) also for other games such as Watch_Dogs, BF3, Titanfall, etc.
What is your budget?
$1000 but can be stretched a little bit above.
Where do you live? If in the US, do you have a nearby Microcenter?
The U.S. and it doesnt appear on any map system I use so I don't believe so.
What is included in the budget?
Only what is needed for the PC to run. I already have a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
Will you be overclocking?
No, I will not be.
Will you be reusing any parts?

Any specific case preferences?
I would like to be able to see through to the inside on one of the sides but is not necessary but I would like 2 USB 3.0 ports.

Yeah. You're going to want to wait until a few weeks before you buy the computer to start asking around, as prices change, new things get released, and all that. It'd be really interesting, imo, because a lot of new processors and video cards are coming out at the turn of the new year, to see how Black Friday is. There should be a lot of clearance. Personally, I think I might try and snag a fast 3rd generation Intel processor, because those should be pretty darn cheap with Broadwell coming out soon after.

The first-gen i7s are dirt cheap right now. I saw an i7-940 for $130 on Amazon.

ch56148If I were you I would use XSplit, it does take a little longer to work out how to use it but it is a more professional program, you can do more stuff with it like add the time, messages, server ips, screen regions and yeah. also I would recommend using nightbot as it is a great way for small channels to get a great moderator, as I am a streamer I have used all this and it is great my channel is http://twitch.tv/ch56148

I will But I don't plan on buying until January so it'll be a while. Right now i'm looking to get the best PC for my money far in advance so I'll know exactly what to buy when that day comes.

January? Maxwell GPUs will probably be out by then and Broadwell cpus will be just around the quarter.

You're going to need to look up some things, but I suggest you use Open Broadcaster Software. It allows you to livestream, record, and a bunch of other fun stuff. It also seems pretty lightweight. I'm not sure how you'll do with Max and Shaders, but you'll be hitting a lot of frames with Medium no shaders and High no shaders (I get 60-80 FPS on High no shaders and I'm using a very old graphics card, and I get 15-20 FPS on high or medium with shaders).

I was wondering does anyone the average FPS I will get with this build on Minecraft with these settings?: Medium Settings, Max Settings, and Max Settings with Shaders.

I've added in msot of the suggest parts. I plan on leaving the RAM as a (1x8GB) because I may upgrade to 16 GB eventually so I can do more things while I render videos.

Your motherboard has four 2-channel RAM slots, with a maximum RAM of 32GB. You'll be fine with keeping the 2x4GB sticks and use them for dual-channel performance (which is better than just one stick of RAM).

You can get Windows 8.1 at /r/softwareswap for like $15, and splurge just a tiny bit more for a bump in performance on the GPU. Plus, with my motherboard you get the possibility of Crossfire if you ever want to use it and get another r9 290 when they get cheap. Good luck on your build!

This goes $100 over the budget but the graphics card is much better than the 770 and the 280x, for only $50 more. The case was to small to fit a decent card so you wouldn't have been able to upgrade it in the future, fixed that as well.
