I am in the market for a new computer, as, mine is very bad. I want one that can run games like Arma 2-3, Grav, etc without lagging or being super slow. I'd like it to have at least;
  • 8 Gb of RAM
  • 3.0 Ghz
  • Any graphic card above 6000
  • and 200-500 GB of memory

Now I don't have a lot of money to drop so I'd like it to be cheap, maybe around $200-$400. If there won't be anything like that in the market I am willing to lower a few things , I understand there's not much in the market for that price but I need to keep the RAM and the processor speed. If you have a computer that can run any of the games I mentioned just fine that's not too expensive, please let me know.
My current setup is
  • AMD Radeon HD 3000
  • 2.33 Ghz
  • 4 Gb of RAM
  • 139GB of memory

I assume you know now why I want a new PC.
I would also be willing to build a PC but, it'd have to be in my price range

This is what I'd go with.
*Pentium K so you can overclock to around 4ghz with stock cooler (even though its stock is more than enough, clock speed isn't the most important thing in a cpu)

*4GB of ram because that's really all you need, plus it's the most I could fit in the budget while still having a good cpu/gpu (far more important than ram is)

*1TB HDD because buying anything smaller is a waste of money with today's prices

*r9 270 because it's a really good card for it's price. (beats out 750ti's for less)

*Small but good case, so if need be you can move it around, and it's just cheaper.

*500w EVGA PSU, sadly it's not bronze, but its from EVGA so it's safe, atleast with these lower cards. I would not recommend throwing anything higher than a 270/7870 on this PSU, only because it's not bronze, not because it's 500w. But it'll handle this card fine.

**Now with Windows, you'll have to buy the key from online for around 15-20 dollars, because you cant afford a $100 key. The only thing you'll have to do is download the .ISO (Microsoft has them) and then install it with a Flash Drive and then put the key in and you're good.

Now how would I go about this, would I buy the stuff and put it in my pc I already have (Might not work out that way, I have a Small Form Factor) or would it go in the case? I'm really new to the whole computer building thing

Can you give me a link to your PC? You can maybe reuse the RAM and the case, and can also use your old HDD as a second drive.

Probably ddr2 ram then, so you can't really reuse anything other than the HDD. So try to sell it, but I doubt you'll get $100 out of it. Maybe to an older person.

Is that a pre-built? We don't look well upon pre-builts here.

You're probably gonna have to increase budget or lower expectations...

Well $200-$400 is kinda stretching it, I don't even have a job so I'd be doing a lot of chores
I can lower the processor to somewhere around 2 Ghz but I'd prefer it be 2.5-3.0
