So I am planing on gifting my laptop as a fathers day gift :]
And I am planing on buying a cheaper gaming one!

But I am not that great when it comes with computers... :[

Anyone know a good gaming computer? [Laptop]
I know there aren't many gaming laptops.
But maybe some of you know!

I need to know one that can run games perfectly such as "Minecraft" Scribblenauts" "Batman Arkham City" and others good!

Thanks
Please do note I don't have cash for some kinda of alienware.
I can Afford some where "100-500$"

:]

I recommend making your own. So you can put what you want and need into it.

Dude, desktops are better than laptops when it comes to gaming. Just search this on youtube: "How to build your own steam box" by jackfrags. (Sorry, I couldn't put a link to it. Somehow, youtube links hate IPads) It's a tutorial for building a desktop that has specs close to the upcoming Steam Box. I'm planning to do this too. And, it's kind of cheap. It's only £300 or $400. It's pretty easy to build a PC as you see in this video. Hope this will help

a few excellent places i know if you want to make your own computer would be tigerdirect.com and look for a barebones kit, it comes with all/most the parts but you build the computer

or newegg.com if you want to build from the ground up
amazon would be my 2nd choice if you can't find what your looking for on newegg

i would like to point out that unless you do your Own research you will end up buying a P.O.S. no matter where you go

for example: the store i was working at bought a i7 laptop for about 650$, my friend put a battlefield 3 background on the desktop and branded it as a limited edition battlefield 3 gaming laptop and it was Sold for 1800$ to some 16 yr old kid who's mommy had alot of money XD

highly suggest you do your research kids

have you thought about making a minisuper computer out of lots of Raspberry Pi's. At $35 dollars each with 512MB of RAM on each one, you can exceed the standard amount of RAM on a laptop with about 64 of them. Downside is that it runs Linex, and it doesn't have a built in hard drive (it's just a chip for crying out loud)

A good gameing laptop is anything running Windows 7. 8 isn't as gamer friendly.

First of all, you are asking for a $100-$500 gaming laptop? That isn't going to happen. You may be able to build a desktop for $500-$800, but I really don't see you being able to get a good, reliable and powerful laptop for only $100-$500.

Hmmm..

Well, this Lenovo is pretty good.

By the way, gaming laptops cost 10x more than a gaming desktop.
A 3,000$ gaming laptop wouldn't beat a 800$ gaming desktop. Just saying.

The one my uncles made me, (It was only 750$), can run Skyrim on high graphics. Gaming desktops don't cost that much.
