Also, throw in an SSD to hold the OS and some programs. Use the hard drive for storing files and whatnot. This will speed up your boot time and program loading time. It doesn't have to be much, but Samsung makes pretty nice ones for a good price.

Lol chat what i see everywhere but SSD for OS and Games HDD For Files

I would get 3 sticks of 4gb memory, aka 12gbs. Triple channel is the best!

You probably won't need more than 8 GB of RAM for a long while. If you go with 8 instead of 16, you'll save money, and you'll probably be able to get faster RAM (maybe 2133 MHz, but 1866 will still perform very well).

Also, if you're doing any sort of video rendering, you'll regret not getting an i7.

This is pointless, but I don't see the point in having a wireless mouse, and the keyboard isn't the best choice.

Of course you'd go about 400 dollars over your budget if you got a different keyboard and mouse from razer.

you could easily build a PC for much cheaper, my friend made one for £500 (yes, pounds not dollars) that ran MC on 500 fps

im ok with my 2 gb and high settings in minecraft. the more you play it the less computer stress. but my friend has 16 gb and he says he lags, maybe im just used to 30 fps .

or you could just buy a dirtbike like me.

Just because he has 16gb doesnt mean hes gonna be lag free. Ram doesnt make a difference really until you run out of it

I dont think youll be needing 16gb of ram. For the majority of stuff 8gb is plenty. You cpuld spend the extra money saved on something better if you want

And a larger hdd.

I see. Lol, with that extremely high budget, I would've just gone for it. But it's your choice.

Contrast to Doggle I think you'll be ok for Minecraft. I have a six core processor but the rest of the build is very similar to yours, and Minecraft is still a bit intensive for it. My only suggestion is to drop the sound card. It's useless. Most mobos come with 5.1 surround sound built-in and you will not notice a difference in audio quality unless you're a dog.

650 watt is also good enough. I have an 800 watt PSU (same make as that one except I believe its rating is gold), but even while running games at max, I generally only push 250-300 output maximum. Giving yourself twice the headroom should ensure future upgrades go smoothly.

For Minecraft you wanna be running a single core processor because as far as I am aware Minecraft can only run on a single core, although I do not suggest building a machine with a single core, the best way to run Minecraft is on a machine with a single core for that matter, hence the reason why, even powerful hex-cores and octo-cores can struggle with Minecraft, although Optifine may fix the issue of single core running, it is not beneficial to me, but to some others it is beneficial.

Minecraft can only use one core, but other processes will want their own headroom. Six cores allow my myriad of programs to run in tandem (OS has a lot of processes that are constantly doing work, don't forget) without causing any sleep time on Minecrafts' thread. A quad core will do perfectly for what he wants.

That computer seems good for gaming, but if you are playing Minecraft only you don't need that, but if you want to be playing games like Battlefield that will be good, although I only have one suggestion, a higher power supply. I suggest 750watt power supply, like my computer.
