The character art really doesn't fit side scrollers or any other type of 2D game, but I'm going to assume that those aren't the textures you actually plan to use. If you don't mind my asking, what language and engine or library did you use for this?

maybe my minecraft skin would be in like a dungeon level with skeletons,but I'm still wearing the tuxedo,and when the player talks to me,my character could say: "I'm not a good lawyer"

I don't know if you would be interested or not but I would be happy to make texture for your game. I have had experience making textures for a Terraria like game and I am pretty good in the style of art. I have also started about 6 textures packs for Minecraft but I never had time to release them.

I just have a feeling that I'll play that roll of that one guy who stands in near-Impossible places for the majority of the game.
Also, what program are you coding this in? Unity, GameMaker, or other?
And one last thing, Do you have any plans for the deuteragonist?

You should have one part where there is an island in the background and so it looks like an island from a certain video game or something and people would be all like "yoooooooooo" "What the fluffffffffffff?", and then you can unlock a secret character pack by doing the Konami (Up up down down left right left right B A B A select start)code and they'll be like "YOOOOOOOOO".
