Are you overclocking? Do you want to SLI?

Try that. It's recomended by /r/pcmasterrace.
That's in USD, not pounds
Whoops sorry bout that. Well 1 pound is 1.68 USD so the grand total for that should be 569.03 british pounds.

This is better, you can put the extra money towards a K70 or something.

SeekCraftWell, I'm about 60-80 FPS with these Shaders and Optifine at a similar system.
Optifine hardly makes a difference in FPS for me. Last time I used it I just got chunk errors and invisible blocks.

lets wait until the kitty comes here aka randomness

Chrix12All good in my opinion. Though I recommend adding an 120GB SSD for OS and drivers and maybe some video editing software. And everything else on that 3TB.SeekCraftThat looks like a very epic pc, I'd say 50-100 FPS with Ultra SEUS and Optifine and up to 500-800 FPS with Optifine and no mods. I wouldn't change anything, good CPU, enough RAM and a good graphics card.
With very similar system, I get roughly same FPS with Ultra SEUS no optifine. And vanilla MC no optifine max I have gotten is ~1800 (med around 500-800). Though I usually just limit FPS to 70.
You can pretty much play at render 16 all the time with no issues (or 32 with optifine). Even with shaders.
About that SSD Chris, OP would be better changing the 3GB HDD to a Hybrid Drive instead. Then they wouldn't need an SSD.

I would recommend not spending as much on a case, and actually using the money you save to upgrade your RAM from 1600Mhz to 2133Mhz.
It actually makes a significant improvement in system speed. Not necessarily gaming though.
As for FPS estimations, I can't guarantee that these will be accurate. And they are purely based on benchmarks I have performed on my own build. All tested at 1920x1080 resolution and with VSync OFF - VSync reduces screen tearing but limits your FPS to 60.
Minecraft (VSync OFF, Cloud On, Smooth Lighting Max, Fancy Graphics)
55-70 FPS
ArmA II (High Graphics)
40-75 FPS
Battlefield 3 (High graphics)
50-80 FPS
Team Fortress 2 (Max)
70-135 FPS

well i would say i have the same computer just more ram and another motherboard but i would recommend that you change that Power supply to a corsair 800w or a 1000w so that you have some headroom for overclocking the computer i have overclocked my pc to 4.6GHz and i would say go for it also i get 1000 fps on mc with optifine so ye it is worth it
