Opinions of Hytale!
Hytale is a fan game of Minecraft, in my opinion the game looks amazing and I really want to play it.

I mean i would not call it a "fan game" because it is made by a studio not one person, and people who think it is a ripoff of MC are completely wrong because
A) Although it has "blocky" models, it's textures are completely different and not the same style
B) It seems to be more of an rpg than a sandbox game like MC, bu it is probably both rpg and sandbox.
C) It cant be a ripoff it is better than the game it was based off of :)

It could be possibly called a fan game but it's really not one is what you're saying, right?

Yep, definitely excited, the massive scope for modding and content creation will hopefully create a thriving community, potentially of older/more experienced players who are bored with the base game (especially survival)
There's a lot of reasons I'm concerned about this one. Largely, we need to consider what Hypixel is known for. Apparently, while it was popular, it also popularized some really scummy moves in the Minecraft community and caught flak. Things like microtransactions and pay to win. I don't know, I never checked it.
The terms of service have come out and while it is moddable, the only thing you're not allowed to mod is the client. That's slightly concerning because that could be used to push ad content at you or mine data and you can't do a thing about it, made worse by the following:
Riot games is an investor. Not only has this company had some PR issues due to people being weird in the company, but it's also owned by Tencent, the chinese megacorporation that moves in on just about every other game and is also maintaining the crazy dystopian network that keeps track of chinese citizens' "Social score." Spooky stuff.
On the plus side, if modding is as open-ended as I hear it is, even an idiot like me could create really cool buildings and creatures with little to no programming knowledge.
I'd say to err on the side of caution here. I already signed up for the beta, though, so I'll have to review these facts when I actually get to check it out.

It could either be a VERY terrible game or a AWESOME one
The game is a beta, without any real gaming experience we cannot say anything. We have a saying in Hungary for the similar problem: Do not judge the book from its cover.

I'm excited for it. I'm planning on playing it because I like games with adventure.

Do you even realize that MC Dungeons is a dungeon crawler and also that Hytale started being worked on before Minecraft Dungeons was even announced?

no like its ripping off dungeons, hypixel sees mc dungeons, and says lets make that, but better
hypixel has been talking about making a game like this for years, Minecraft dungeons has nothing to do with it. besides MC dungeons was announced 6 months(ish) ago no one can make a game that fast.
Looks fun but I'm not into adventures and anything of that sort
