I'm getting Overwatch for my birthday on the 25th of september!

I just realized with the new Mercy buff, Mercy is actually a viable candidate for a Nano-Boost. This is going to be fun.

So, we finally have details on the new abilities D.VA and Mercy will have.

D.VA got heavily buffed. She now has a new "E" ability, which allows her to launch a volley of mini missiles that do a tiny bit of splash damage that are fired for about 2-4 seconds. She can also use her main guns/missiles while using her "Shift" boost ability. Only downside, her defence matrix time is halfed. Overall, she's gotten more powerful offensive wise, but her defensive capabilities have taken a hit to balance. Overall, I'm fine with it.

Then there's Mercy...wow. I think she got heavily nerfed (Even harder then Roadhog to be honest.) Her power to resurrect people is no longer her ult. It is now her "E" ability. It can res 1 person, and has a 30 second cooldown. Her brand new ult is called "Valkyrie", which allows her to fly freely for 20 seconds, and the cooldown of her res is shortened to 10 seconds for the duration of her ult. Overall, I find that her res is now an ability instead of an ult is interesting, but man, her capabilities have been decimated. She can no longer multi-res, instead focusing on single target ressing, and while her ult will allow her to be harder to kill, I don't she many uses for it, except for being a harder target to hit. Main waifu has taken a severe blow, and I get the feeling she'll no longer by the No. 1 most played hero in competitive very quickly. So enjoy being able to multi-res while it lasts, people.

I'll need to test these 2 characters myself before final opinions on the changes, but I'm very worried about Mercy.

(In other news, I got every single event skin for the Summer Games, all the emotes, all the highlight intros, and even all the sprays. Life is good)

And here I still await a switch version :( It looks like such a good game.

I was playing Competitive Lucio Ball, and after 2 matches, I went to search for another match. The game experienced an error, and now the game is constantly searching for a game, while not actually searching. I can't join any games, and I'm stuck on the main menu

My brother and I are working on a new kind of hide and seek game mode. The catch is that the hunter is blindfolded and must use sound to detect enemies. My first attempts mainly involved me walking off cliffs. XD

I'm gonna change the forum question (finally) and I want to see what everyone's favorite Doomfist skin is. And apparently the majority of you are more interested on how Doomfist plays than what he can bring to the table in terms of story.

So I read the Masquerade comic, and I must say, I'm very pleased. Doomfist is such a well-designed character, especially when it comes to story. The casino scene gave me flashbacks to Casino Royale from James Bond, one of my personal favorite movies. We got some insight on Talon and we see that they have financial issues and tensions between members.

Also, a lot of people were saying that they wanted some of the costumes in the comic in the game, but they seem a bit too gaudy for my taste. Maybe something from the casino in Monaco, but it probably doesn't fit the situation.

Another small detail, Doomfist accuses Reaper of being sentimental towards Ana and Jack Morrison. His response? A very questionable "no" that hints at some possible guilt.

I think I've made an interesting discovery. After looking at all the evidence, I think Sombra's EMP isn't really an EMP at all. Instead, it's a more complex hacking command that takes a while to load and prepare. The reason I say this is that with the EMP, all electronics would be toast, including many of the technology that helps many of the other heroes function, most notably Genji or any Omnic. If it truly was an EMP, Genji's life support systems would be fried and the Omnics would shut down completely. EMP is probably just a code name for the command she uses and not an actual EMP.


Why was I thinking about this...

Thought I'd talk on Doomfist a bit. I did my research, and this guy has an interesting story behind him. Apparently, he straight-up killed the second Doomfist just to gain his place on Talon. Guess that's one way to show the student has become the master. I also like the character that Blizzard gave to him. Not only is he strong, but possesses great intelligence and a silver tongue. He seems to be the villain that Talon needed (even though some people claim he's an anti-hero when he clearly isn't.) as his welcoming demeanor and warrior spirit make him seem like an unquestionable leader.

I also came across the unfinished dialogue between Doomfist and Hanzo. From it, it's clear that Talon really wishes to recruit him, but if it's anything like Widowmaker's interaction, I think Talon's out of luck. Haven't found an interaction with any other Talon members yet, but I'm sure we'll get them soon enough. Can't wait to hear Sombra mess around with him.

So... The new skins have been released. Mei is now the monster she is, Zenyatta has turned from harmony to chaos, and Symmetra's a dragon. What an interesting bunch we have here.

It seems that Kaplan has smiled down upon me and given me the skin I so desired: Van Helsing McCree is real my friends!
