I was looking around and stumbled upon this and I WANT TO THROW MONEY AT THIS SO BAD.
Basically, it is a modular phone, where every component is like a Lego piece. Great for customization, and say if a part breaks, you don't have to throw away the entire phone; Just replace the part.

Looks like it has a thing at the bottom that screws in and holds everything there.
Not sure about the OS, but rumors say Android.

Does it run Android or its own proprietary OS? If it ran one people are more familiar with it'd be a lot more popular.
Also, what keeps the blocks in place?

All I know is that the guy behind it looks pretty legit, and he seems to be quite far along with the design process, so he probably already figured it out.

THIS LOOKS AWESOME! I wonder what operating system it will have... Android, or possibly a new one?

I would assume some kind of proprietary design where certain pins do certain things. And possibly (according to the youtube video) the board is wired in a special way.

That would prevent components fitting anywhere though, and the board would have to be wired in a very very special way that literally allows a camera to go where a battery should go, and whatnot.
@Above, probably android.

I just wonder how different components are going to be able to be wired up properly - Most of the time, like in Computers, components need to be wired to the motherboard or whatever in a certain way, for example, a camera won't actually work as a camera if you wire it up to the battery slot on your phone. How are they going to fix this?
