Welcome to my budget build competition! The challenge is to make the best pcpartpicker build for 500 dollars. But here's the catch.... if two builds have the same price to performance ratio, and one is 100$ less than the other, it will win. Heres some info to get you started: the build has to be an overclocking one, the budget is only for the tower, no peripherals, and have fun.

I had an idea to save quite a bit of money, and I think I was pretty clever to think of it for the low-ish budget of this build competition.

The amount of memory might bottleneck the performance of the 280x in a few memory-heavy games, but it saved enough money to fit a 280x into the build lol

This is assuming we can buy parts from online, and get parts off of friends?

Not exactly a powerhouse, but for a computer that costs >200 dollars, and can max out BF4, not bad.

Let the record show that the only thing I got from the build above me was the motherboard. Everything else in my build has been in my build since before he posted his.

I assumed the person building the computer lived near a Microcenter, so here is the source of the bundle.
