Hey so I'm planning on upgrading my RAM soon to 8gb from 4gb.
Unfortunately, I bought this computer of a friend a couple years ago and never really cared about the specs just how much fps it got. Now I am trying to upgrade RAM I'm not sure what RAM I have, I've used CPU-Z to get this :
But im still unclear on what ram to get that will work with that ram..
If you have a idea of some ram thats 4gb preferbally around 40 pounds or 60 dollars that supports the ram I have at the moment, please suggest some
My motherboard definatly supports more ram btw
Thanks!

You have 4gb of DDR3 ram.
4GB of DDR3 1600 MHz CAS 9 RAM should do the job.
It's OK, but it's kind of slow. I don't know if you can have 1600MHz RAM because you alread have RAM at around 1499MHz, so it might underclock anything else down. I don't really know, but here's your average stick of 8GB RAM:
And 4GB RAM:
It's up to you which you might want to buy.

1600MHz CAS 9 is what you need unless you have an APU.
So, should I just ditch the current one i have and buy the 8gb one you suggested?
I have a A4-5300 APU and a GPU..
I know, It's a bad build.

Why are you recommending 1600 mhz RAM? It would run in dual channel and be limited to 1333mhz like his current RAM. Just get this: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/kingsto ... hx313c9fr4
So would this run with my current RAM? And also improve the performance of my pc?
It would run in dual channel with your current RAM. It would improve performance if you are bottle-necked by 4GBs of RAM; otherwise it won't. If you never use 100% of your RAM it won't help.
So it will increase rendering speeds?
(I know CPU's are very important for rendering too)

Maybe a little bit, but not worth what you'll pay for it.
Hmm, I'll probably just end up keeping it to try and buy a i5 then.
Thanks guys!
