So, I made that ticket but after almost a week I haven't got a single answer or sign of notice and I still haven't got something close to a reasonable number for my research.
Should I just repost it? Or ask a staffmember directly in PM?

PMs will not achieve much, because that's why the ticket system exists. We have a huge amount of tickets and not enough mods to actively handle them, so they generally get ignored unless they are certain types.
