Building Ideas for City

I need ideas for buildings that have the city feel to them.

Make the Orbital Elevator which is from Halo 3 ODST or some custom skyscrapers

make a building that would make the city famous, like the eiffel tower made paris famous and the space needle for seattle :3

Well. With 1.2 you could make a city on top of a floating island. That would be pretty cool.
