These are my opinions on which videogame character should be added next, in either dlc or the next installment.

5. Dixie Kong

She is one of the only playable characters from Tropical Freeze, I don't think Cranky would fit as well as Dixie does, she is fairly iconic and would make for a great moveset. She can fly around by spinning her pony tail and they could implement other Donkey Kong items into her moveset making her a unique and fun character, plus we have not had a new comer from the Donkey Kong franchise.

4. Sceptile

there is a noticable lack of grass pokemon in the newsest smash brothers. On top of that, they have a third stage pokemon of each starter (Greninja, Charizard) and from different regions EXCEPT GRASS. Sceptile fits perfectly since he is also from a different pokemon game than the other two starters. Although Serperior is my altime favorite pokemon I feel like Sceptile is a better fit because of the fact that he has useful limbs and is very agile.

3. Kamek

kamek is the assistant of bowser and weilds some cooky magic, he is occurant throughout the series and has the oppertunity for an awesome moveset. I will be disapointed if kamek is not in some time or another.

2. Rayman

when it comes to third party smash members, rayman is the next logical step. He has games on the Wii U despite not being nintendo, comes from a platformer game like many smash members, is very iconic, and a unique look/personality. Great fit for the series and I will be surprized if he doesn't make the cut.

1. Bandanna Dee

Did you expect to see him here, probably not, he is one of the lesser considered characters. Here is why he is a good choice; He is the only real playable character from Return to Dreamland that isn't in smash yet, we have not had a kirby newcomer, and heck, waddle dee was removed from king dedede's moveset. Bandanna dee has great moveset and here is a video I found that has the exact same ideas as me.

I really want at least 3/5 of these request to become reality.
