Obviously we have to take drastic measures, Zathy. I'll stop calling you Zathy if you help me kidnap MGB_. We'll have to fly to whichever state he's in now, (I think it's connecticut, maybe arizona. WAIT! Cincinnati! It's Cincinnati!), and then we'll kidnap him at a red's game. Then we put him in a dark room with a dell PC that can only use PMC, and force him to write blogs and be active on the forums. Case closed, MGB_ stays, and you and I get our contest results. See how easy things are when we work together?

Some people who quit don't mean they never come back online to do a few things, like if they wanted to download something new like an adventure map that only has their Download link here, or they are cleaning up some things, or even responding to a friend real quick to tell them somewhere else they can talk to each other at. It doesn't always mean that they were lying about quitting, and its also possible he forgot to sign out when he quit, as even leaving the page [apparently] doesn't mark you as signed out.

But in all seriousness, yeah I do kinda agree. I don't get why people have to make a dramatic public forum thread to say they are leaving. Just say it in your profile's about me. And at the end, like they say, "they always come back."

And vice-versa. I see this comment as a desire for attention on your part. I'm not going to say you're jealous of his popularity because you'll retort with a fiery attack on my own credentials.

I'd like to know when my friend moves to Arizona. If he's a good enough friend to me, heck, I'd like to wave goodbye. There's nothing wrong in that, surely.

I see this as you're only helping it "block useful threads" by bumping it by saying that its a wall blocking useful threads.

Oh yus, we're all going to bump it. And people actually like to have a reason when a person leaves a public site, since they have people who actually subbed to them, making the subs want to know why they aren't active, and why they weren't active. (As in, people would like to know if you're inactive / leaving, and why you're inactive / reading) So, actually a bit more then a few would disagree on your first statement.

Obviously you're oblivious to the sheer importance of this person, only furthermore proving your ignorance. This is a boy that has changed the site forever, and the fact that he's leaving the site needed to be announced. Otherwise, people would go "Where the hell did MGB_ go?" "Gee bill, I dunno. What about you happy?" "I'M TOO BUSY PLAYING MY HAPPY PIANO TO KNOW BRO!" See? I think you better leave. It's not a cry for attention, it's a tearful goodbye.
