Hey guys im just telling you about the NisseFar and Nivek Virus if you dont allready know about it the virus is spread across 4 networks skype steam xboxlive and playstation network and on steam if one person on your friends accepts them it can cause a ton of damage depending on how big someones friends-list is so this is a warning.so keep safe while using those four networks.

Friending somebody won't get you a virus, end of story. There's no way to do that, there never has been and there probably never will be.

Still, anyone could do this. It doesn't show anyone actaully being hacked, it's like a blog face image

This message has been going around for three years and it's completely fake. The first story that there were two users, NisseFar and Nivek, who were adding randoms to friends lists and were giving them viruses.
There is no virus. In order to get a virus, a file has to be downloaded and all these services will not allow users to descreetely force a user's client to download a file, malicious or not. The only way you could get a virus this way is if you added someone unknown to you on a service like Skype or Steam and they sent you a direct download link to a file and you clicked it.
