I love all of it and the launcher needed a reboot(I like the new launcher's sleek simple look).

Probably the reason it is laggy is you havent put more RAM into it, if you have already done this, get a better PC. I play MineCraft on a mac, and it plays fine.

Resource Packs, good in theory. In practice a nightmare. Mojang TextureEnder is useless so I had to update all my texture packs manually, even then textures are disappearing even though they are named correctly and in the correct files. I'm doing a custom pack for someone but neither of us can check the pack because half of what should be edited is in default.

The mods are extremely difficult to install (to me), and the launcher looks ugly. Other than that, it's fine.

1. The Launcher's nice, but it could be better,
2. it's a little bit more laggy, but that doesnt bother me...
3. Horses? really? Why dont we just move to Teraria instead?
4. The carpets are a little unnecesary..
5. The Sprinting! Mojang kinda killed it... and they killed parkour

If you are getting lag on mc then it is time to buy a good computer. If you are running under 30fps admit it, your computer is horrible. On a $150-$200 gpu you can get about 40+ wich is good enough. This is a very good one here. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130909

it sux and th lawnchair is rally bad i tryed to get it to work and it did'nt wrok but then i tryed it again latter and it work'ed but it was stuupid anyway the horse's do'nt fit in minecraft and the carpets are useless and leads do'nt do anyting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its rally lagggy and i get bad laaaaaag and its so meannnn mojang is stupid jeb ruined minecraft he made it laggy and stupid and all they did was add a bunch of map maker commandy atreebut things that r usless in survivallll!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't understand why everyone hates the launcher... They've already stated that they are going to make it look more appealing, but it has functions that make it much better than the old one. I love how I can easily switch between versions and mods without having to go to the bin folder and rename the jar...

The launcher IS a bit disheveled, but I don't see the "huge FPS drop" everyone dreads. Although I'm not too fond of the launcher (I don't see what exactly was wrong with the old one), at least it works and we're getting a notice that Dinnerbone is working on improving it. This FPS drop? I've gotten a huge SKYROCKET in FPS, which is the complete opposite of what everyone's complaining about. Most of the time, I've been getting 80-200 FPS without Optifine. Mojang did something right, woohoo!

I agree! The only good thing about the launcher is the profile editor but you can already do that using magic launcher. Also it seems to make minecraft a hell of a lot more laggier! Even when I use 1.5.2 it is more laggy than it used to be with the old launcher.
The update was mostly useless too. The only thing I like was the horses and the new texture for Charcoal. They really need to make a update for Villagers so they aren't so useless!

And less and less imaginary. They keep adding things, ad soon the game is going to be a virual reality. How much longer till they add $$$ and banks and government?

The new launcher isn't fully updated, they are still working on it, it even says it when you download it from the link shown in the main menu of 1.5.2.

I'm sorry Mojang but this launcher is horrible. The only good thing I like about the launcher is that you can customize it with profiles. It looks ugly and could easily be improved by almost anyone. I feel the updates are getting less and less useful as well, which is a shame.
