That's not exactly the most likely thing that would happen. (I do agree with a cost for updates though. That seems likely...) But otherwise, monsters would probably stay, I mean Disney owns Kingdom Hearts (if you don't know what it is, it's this video game where a bunch of disney characters and their worlds become connected with new disney-anime character hybrid worlds, and all the disney characters fight alongside you and stuff as you journey along killing a bunch of giant shadowy creatures called heartless. The fights look brutal, although there isn't any gore. But be assured, minecraft would still have hostile mobs, pvp, nether, and end if Disney bought the game. They'd probably add some disney characters as befriendable allies or something.
