What kind of computer should I get?
I want a computer for minecraft that has about 80 fps on the highest settings. My budget is probably something around $800. Any suggestions on what I should get?

I'll have to find teh parts for my computer to show you, but I spent around 700 dollars, and my computer runs minecraft at up to 200 fps (which really doesn't matter when you go above 60).
I'd recommend you build a computer, a lot of store bought ones will rip you off.

I recommend if you are looking for a new computer do not come to PMC to ask, i would say go to your local computer store, or tech genius and ask. Remember Planetminecraft is full of 7yr old kids who think they can build computers.
I'm no expert on buying computers, but I've been sticking to my windows 7 HP laptop for quite a long time, it runs well, and I can run multiple Minecraft servers from it.
If you are building one, I would recommend getting a dual HDD with a SSD. Also, make graphics cards a priority, over things like RAM and processors, if games are your one priority.
I currently have a cyberpower AMD 2terabytes 16 RAM It really good and only costed about $1000 great deals from tiger direct. IP: ducktapeandwax.no-ip.org
I built mine myself with a little help from my brother lol
I have a M14x alienware and it is great. It's only i5 but it does the job. I never get lag.

What's wrong with i5?
i7 will not make much of a difference to most games in terms of performance.

Personally i would recommend going ASUS. They are a great reliable company, and you will get the most bang for your buck.
if you want 80 fps, i would get the NVIDIA GeForce GT630.
i get 150 fps normally, 200 fps when im not running other programs.
