1.8 Forge Will Not Run

So I downloaded forge and installed it like a usually do for 1.8, but I went to start it on the launcher, the launcher closes, but Minecraft never actually opens. Anybody know what is wrong and how to fix it?

This happened to me, delete the profile its in and any mods along with it, proceed to install 1.7.2, open the launcher, close it, and then reinstall 1.8 , well thats what I did
