Ok, I need help and suggestions really fast.
I installed a GTX 1080 after taking out my R7 360. I did not make any changes, for instance overclocking - it hasn't even powered on. I plugged in the plug, and nothing happens. When I press the on button, the fans span for like 1 second then turned off. Checked the fuse and thats OK, so I am not sure what is causing this. Please help! This is desperate!

Ok after a bit of messing around I got into the bios on my R7. Nows the time to change what I need to! Suggest what I should tweak please?

Hmm. Put my old GPU back into the PC and am now having the original problem on the old working one. Could DDU have caused this on the old one too?

You can contact them through a contact form but that takes longer. I found a UK sales phone number but only a US technical support number.

Can't seem to find the UK phone number to call them and ask...

https://forums.geforce.com/default/topi ... -ultimate/ and http://www.asrock.com/support/ The guy doesn't say what he changed in the chipset but said he changed something about above 4g. I would try contacting ASRock yourself to see if they can help you and see if they have any other fixes.

I am using AsRock! Please give me the link!

Recommended system power is 500w. And, you have an 500watt power supply so I think it's good. I looked it up and someone contacted there motherboard maker(ASRock is that persons case) and ASRock said to change two settings.

Lee, its all plugged in, 8 pin is in. And I have a 500 watt one of these: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/XCjG ... 00w10500kr
The box says 500watt+
Ok Ren, so I did that all OK, put in old GPU, ran the program and it shut down. Then I replaced the GPU back to the 1080 and turned it on. Still original problem.

You've plugged in the 8-pin power connector, right? What power supply do you have?

You use DDU theres a option in there and its something along the lines of this (Uninstall drivers and shutdwon (For installing new graphics card) After that try plugging in your 1080 and see if it works.
1
Wait how am I supposed to uninstall AMD drivers while an AMD card is plugged in?!
1
Thanks Ren! Will do so now.

Try using DDU(Display Driver Uninstaller) to uninstall your old amd drivers then restart after its done. Then, reinstall your gtx 1080 drivers after that restart and turn on your computer and it should work.
