This is a Community Resource Pack. We are collecting 32x Textures and Sounds in the same theme. At the end we will maybe still change textures. I might edit some of the textures that you distribute. Please don't be offended by that. It's not that the textures or sounds aren't good but because they don't fit the theme.
The theme of the Resource Pack is Medieval!
I hope you guys have fun texturing and posting your textures and sounds here.
How can I distribute?
It's easy. Just make a texture or a sound. Save it as a .png or a sound file and then upload it via imgur/imageshack/soundhosting page?/whatever you use. Then use the [ /img ] to post it in this thread. I will then add the texture or sound in the pack.
Is there a minimum that I have to do?
No there isn't only if you do blocks like crafting table, melon, pumpkin ore any blocks that have more than one texture make sure that you do all of the needed textures.
Also if you make a texture based on another one (furnace, crafting table), use the textures we already have (wood, cobblestone, etc...)

I made a barrel for the single chest, I hope you don't mind that I darkened the other peoples wood because all the wood people made looked too bright for a barrel

I made some more textures, most of them are just textures we already had in a different colour.

Honestly, we don't mean any offense. We just want the best textures for the texture pack, and the ones that fit the theme best. We also don't want any textures borrowed from other texture packs.Echin44SoyMonkeyi love how like half the textures are from other packs XD
Tell me which ones are and I will make sure they get out of the pack. However, I don't think you will really find any.
I think it's safe to say that if your texture is replaced, it is no longer part of this pack, and you can use it in other projects. Thank you, and Happy Crafting!

Im sorry but none of these tools look like actual medieval tools. They look like just random tool textures for a good looking resource pack, but too clean and just not the right look for medieval

I personally dislike the 32x textures in most medieval packs... they don't have enough subtle tones, too much noise.

Its not a particularly realistic medieval resource pack. I like to think that it's medieval because it's not sci-fi, aka there's nothing futuristic. It's sort of like the default; it's not specifically medieval but it looks like it fits in a medieval time period.

I'm working on a modded server and I thought this would be a good resource pack for it. But who should I ask permission?

You dont have to ask for permission to use a texture pack for a servers "recommended" texture pack...

You still don't get it... Your Texture Does Not Fit The Theme Nor Was It Made For This Pack Specifically! I wasn't being rude by telling you to sop whining (which you were obviously doing). Just stop mentioning the fact that you never got in the pack with your texture before this post gets taken down for getting off topic or flaming.

The rule on PMC is that you can bump a post once a day, as a maximum. It doesn't matter whether it's on the front page or not.

Don't bump this thread alive. If ppl are interested they'll find the thread again and submit to the project. The thread used to be dead one time before. I thought it wouldn't come back to live again. It did. If you guys feel like doing more textures, there's still a list a few pages back of textures that we need.

Then you do not understand the rules. If a post is not posted on for 20-30 days, it will be considered "old", so if someone posts on it, it will be locked. I personally want this to be done to the final stage, so i'm going to keep it going by bumping, if you don't want that to happen, sucks to be you
