Cape Mod help

I tried to install cape mod, it doesnt work, it only worked in the old 1.2.5 version. and I deleted meta-inf, uploaded a cape, replaced files, what am I missing? can any1 be kind enough to upload a modded client?

Have you tried it with modloader?

because i use the cape mod and it's working fine for me and i have modloader installed and rei's minimap so.. you may need modloader..
