HELP!
First off, I would like to say that I'm not sure if this is in the right category or not but I think 'Discussion' would be most relevant of those I have found.
My Issue is that my friends and I cannot join my servers! This is not only minecraft servers but also Terraria and Teamspeak. (Or any server). I have portforwarded, and also tried it with hamachi, and with hamachi completely uninstalled from my computer. My servers did work fine before whether or not I had hamachi installed. Any port checker I use says my 25565 IP is open. I also do not get any error messages and/or reports. If anyone has the same issue, or a fix to this problem please post it. If I fix this problem I will update this post.

You don't need to port forward to join servers, just to host them.

Go to ''minecraft help'' that's the right spot for this form post
Please give us an error log to see exactly what's wrong
type cmd into the run bar or whereever and in tht type "ipconfig" without quotes.
Look for Pv4 address,it should be 192.168.1.xx i think , then use that number followed by :25565 to connect to the hosters server

i had the same problem when i was trying to make a server, and i took a ton of time learning how to port forward and i did the same exact thing that tutorials did, and i still never could make one :/
