How to change a beacon's colour?

I would appreciate some help because im working on a resource pack. Its only 10% complete btw.

if you go into a a pack its under assets-minecraft-textures-entity then scroll down till you see the png files it should be called beacon_beam.png
You should see it somewhere it's really easy to change it it might be in entity's or idk just look you should see it somewhere
the beacon (if you mean the beam) there is a texturefile for it you just have to locate it if you cant look in another pack and see where it is in there and then you can find it in the default
......It's quite simple, if you're "10%" complete, you should know how to change the texture of the beacons.
well, last time I checked it was Hard-Coded into the game.
now, that was in 1.5.2 so it might have changed. but knowing Mojang, it most likely didn't.
