How do I make a water color palette for my resource pack?
I'm thinking of making an OptiFine resource pack that makes most biome water and water items clear. I read in this GitHub page that to change the water color in biomes, I need to make a 256x256 image with the water colors. The problem is, I don't know what the palette is supposed to look like. Can someone make a sample palette with the vanilla Minecraft colors so I can get an understanding of what the palette looks like (and also provide a key so I know what color is for what biome)?

I mean make it colorless instead of blue, like real water. I could just use a pale gray color to make it look like that.

You could recolour the water files

As of 1.13 water textures is no longer blue but gray and is tinted using biome colors. That's why he want to use Optifine's custom colormap feature.

And how do I get those?

You need to get into the Game file(.jar)

I know how to do that, but where is the water file located?

You need to check it

I think I need to install mcpatcher to get a water colormap.
