Servers Broken

(This is a repost, I can't find my old one!)
I have a glitch with my servers, I have only three I can connect to. My server.pro hosted server, a server from a youtube thing, and a GTA server. All of these are hosted on external websites. I can not connect to Hypixel, The Hive, Mineplex, or any servers I could think of other than those three. I tried erasing my server.dat and it didn't fix. Everything is random letters and numbers inside of it. What do I do?

Try re-downloading your minecraft, I once ha this issue and that fixed it straight away, If you have any worlds or resourcepacks, go into resource packs on minecraft, click open in folder, save your resource packs, click out into the .minecraft folder and then open saves, save all those folders too. and put them back in their place once you have re-downloaded it, I suggest you delete your .minecraft folder once you have saved all your files.
