Ok, so I was making a map that would be up for download. It has one part of the map that looks like this.

The rest of the world is just cubes, nothing else, it's just empty. When the mobs were spawning on the cube in that picture, they rarely moved at all. When they did move, it moved in almost slow motion. For example, the Magma Cube's jump took at least five seconds for them to hit the ground. Anyone know why? I'd like to fix this problem.

Well, the snapshots (the latest ones) are known to buggy/glitchy/laggy. They will start optimizing everything at the end, when all the new features of 1.8 are ready.
