Recently, I have started using minecraft on the linux computers at my local library. I downloaded minecraft.jar and open it on the command prompt by typing:

java -jar Minecraft.jar

It opens, I click play. The launcher disappears, instead of the game coming up, the launcher comes back with this error:

Click to reveal
OpenJDK Client VM warning: You have loaded library /home/guest/.minecraft/versions/1.7.10/1.7.10-natives-13769375966612/liblwjgl64.so which might have disabled stack guard. The VM will try to fix the stack guard now.
It's highly recommended that you fix the library with 'execstack -c <libfile>', or link it with '-z noexecstack'.
