LP/Livestreams on server?

OK so then,
I have been wanting for quite a while to get into you tube or live streaming because I don't like the fact that I play minecraft and other games in a lot of my spare and I don't have anything to show for what I have been doing.
I want to start an LP either on you tube or twitch that will be based on a server, a bit like the Mind-crack server that is owned by Guudeboulderfist, I was wondering if there are any other aspiring you-tubers that would want to do this with me and would like to take up this as a project,
I can host a server but it will be quite laggy until December as my upload is a pile of crap.
Any takers or suggestions?
