Well, what have you exactly been doing for 3 years? What is the way you like to play in this game? Because you may be good, not the best, but good at what you like to do in this game. A noob does not know the Shift + Click shortcut in the inventory. A noob does not know how to make a nether portal.

What I mean is, please do not feel bad because one person is a pro at X thing while you aren't (mostly PvP where you see people getting crazy Clicks Per Second), I feel the same way too even with my 9 years in-game, everyone plays Minecraft in their own way and that's the beauty of it. Actually, the time you've been playing doesn't matter that much itself, it's what you do during this time.

My first 4 years were singleplayer creative only because I did not know how to go to servers or to download maps, until I really got into the Internet.

For noob normally stands for "New Player" so if you been playing for two years, I doubt you'll need to continue to call yourself that.
