Hey guys. Remember before 1.8. Notch were saying that they were going to make the "Adventure Mode" If not in 1.8 then 1.0.
What has happened to that "Mode"? Did they scrap it or is it just hard to build into the game? Anyone knows whats going on with it?

The Adventure update was 1.8 and 1.9. Your thinking of adventure mode which has not ever been coded yet

No, the adventure update was 1.8. What you're thinking of is Adventure MODE, which hasn't ever been developed due to the fact its only purpose is custom maps, and it seems kind of pointless that you'd have to code a new gamemode just so that people have an easier time following rules.

actually 1.8 was techniqly the adventure update and all they added were strongholds ( with no use ) spreinting, more food, more mobs and empty villages. I was expecting a new game mode not a few new stuff. I was really dissapointed and i actually still play in 1.3 sometimes.

Well, he said that the adventure update was a standalone thing BESIDES the stronghold, sprint, end, stuff, stuff.
And besides: He said something like "The Adventure update will be where you cant break blocks and there will be random generated doors, traps, houses and other things so its like an adventure game"

he said that will be in adventure mode, which he still has not made. The adventure update was strongholds new mobs new items and sprinting.

it was just like the sprint, stronholds, end, and i think enchantment and potions
