Do you think mojang should make their own minecraft server?

If mojang were to create a cross-platform minecraft server right now would you play on it? (they might sell stuff, but not pay to win)

With all the player reporting features that were added, I can't imagine how awful a Mojang-owned server other than Realms would be.
Brother. Realms that aren't even fully monitored by mojang are a pain to deal with. You think i would ever join a server owned by mojang ESPECIALLY that it's cross-platform

Unless the idea is to lsupport Bedrock and Classic [java] players on the same server, how would the server differ (other than ownership) from what is currently available?
If BR/Classic interaction is what is meant, I don't see this as doable from a technical standpoint. [If it is achievable, releasing the necessary tools would be much more effective in opening up this possibility to the mass of players.]
