Ugh I get annoyed when people ask this question, if you think you can do this from someone linking you to a mod making application, you will probably never make a mod.

Not exactly, you all have to start somewhere. The easiest place to learn in Planet Minecraft is a submission for the Tutorial contest- http://www.planetminecraft.com/blog/the ... d-1152101/ (The dummies guide to modding- From setup to advanced). Don't expect to magically know how to make mods though, just keep practicing, and if you have a problem, google is your friend.
