ok, so this may have been done already, if so then please inform me
basically, any good builder knows that variety is the spice of life, and there's nothing worse than a castle made entirely of cobblestone and nothing else, it needs variation in the form of different block types such as gravel, stonebricks, mossy stone, broken stone etc,
however, those of us making epic builds who are a bit lazy like to use the //set command in world edit,
my problem is this.... obviously you can create for example, a large wall of cobblestone, however you have to put the variation in yourself, my idea is thus..a bukkit command to create an area of certain blocks in a random order, therefore creating much nicer looking walls for lazy couch potatoes like myself

It is possible, look through the command reference for world edit, you can select what blocks and in what ratio you want them generated in. I would say but I can't remember.
