Need A Cheap Laptop That's Good With Games

Hey guys,
I bought a new laptop (HP Pentium) and tried to play Minecraft as well as other games, but they all lagged horribly. Minecraft would only run at a decent rate with absolutely everything on OFF, and I had Optifine installed. I tried playing Firewatch, but not even the lowest settings allowed me to play it. I'm currently working to get a refund after spending countless hours trying to get the games working at a good rate.
Do you guys have any suggestions for a decent laptop for gaming that isn't an actual gaming laptop. My budget is £400.

You're not going to get anything with $450. Save up at least $700 and then try again, or get a desktop/build a desktop (though there are some good folks here who would very heavily advocate for the latter).

Yea HP isn't a good brand... Ive had a few hp computers and they were one of the worst PCs Ive seen.. So Don't get anything With a HP tag on it...
