dig level 10 thats best level and since your on mac cords will show if you do fn and f3 to open f3

It is best to trip mine at level 10.6 since 10.6 is the row with the most ores. It works really good. Please don't just see this as advertising, but I made a world tour video and i breifly showed my diamond count as well as all the ores hope this helps.

Diamonds are found below level 14 and are usually near lava,

Press F3 to see your co. Then look at Z. Dig down till you see 13. You can find diamonds lower but I find diamonds here more. Then dig about 5 tunnels that are 3 block apart, 2 blocks wide and you can choose how long you want the tunnel to be. Then connect the tunnels through the back. Look at the walls of the tunnel and see if you can find diamonds if not Dig down 3 more blocks and repeat the steps. Hopefully you'll find diamonds

Dig down to the fort layer of bedrock(level 5) and then go up to level 12 by counting up each block. Start a strip mine(mining in many directions that is equally dug out) and you will most likely find diamonds. Best places to mine for diamonds is levels 11-16. Thy are mostly found on level 12 though!

Dig down to bedrock then with the first layer of bedrock where you are standing dig a whole 1 block wide and two 2 tall. Continue making a pathway with these dimensions tell you see a bit of blue--diamonds! Not lapis.... You by doing this will aslo option tons of other resources and ores...Thanks.

Find Surface Caves. Then from there make your way down to the lave. Mine Around the shore off the lave. thats where i usauly find meh diamonds.

Dig to bedrock. The top layer of bedrock is 5 go up 6 or 7 blocks and start digging there in a strip mine. Search strip mine for some good strip mine ideas.

simple to see cords on mac press fn and f3

Dig down to bedrock, Then start hollowing out areas. look for caves down there. after a while you'll find diamonds. Keep moving on to different areas.
