Honestly I spend too much time on RP servers (Usually LOTC) so I'm biased
No mention of survival? You know: the standard game type which you get to play in both single player and on several servers? :P
what about singeplayer, is that not a gamemode
OP probably forgot/didn't bother to specifically mention "server", as that's what the entire poll is plainly catering to.
I've never really understood why some people like creative, it feels kind of cheatie.
Because some people just like to build without limitation? Which was kind of the original point of Minecraft?
Creative is literally the original mode.
Before survival was a concept, people built with unlimited blocks. No fly, but unlimited blocks to see their creations. It existed in a pure form for quite a while, what is known as Classic these days that Mojang more or less shoved out of their site bit by bit.
Survival came later, and I didn't like it. If I wanted a survival game, I would play a survival game. Minecraft is, and always was, a source of appeal for the creativity. Survival, in my view, is simply a limitation of the sandbox and creativity that caught my eye in the first place.

Personally, I'm inn love with towny. It gives a good feel of community when done correctly.
I love to play minigames, mostly on hypixel
I've always loved towny because of how peaceful it ends up becoming, also it kind of feels like a small family.
Factions, I enjoy earning the trust of foolish factions then burning them down before burning the ashes and leaving without a trace.
Yeah but not everyone likes the more popular servers haha
