Unable to get the new smithing table update

When I booted up the new minecraft snapshot 23w04a, and created a new world, I got a smithing table but I did not get the new compartments for armour trimming and it still had the old interface. How to fix this issue?

When you create a new world go to Datapacks and activate 1_20 Datapack.
You need to enable the experimental data pack built in the version
idk if you found the answer yet, but you need to enable the data pack when you create your world. I didn't realize it too lol.
