I think Notch maybe added these (Un)natural caves to look like that there where people before you! (Who probably are zombie's and arrow shooting skeletons now)

What made me bring this subject up was just a really odd hole in the side of a mountain which seemed like it was made by another player but...i guess not.
Herobrine doesn't exist.
Notch only has a half-brother who he never sees.

Also there is no thing like unnatural caves(In Minecraft). But there are weird looking natural caves.

I have found plenty of unnatural ones, the cave generator in minecraft doesn't always make natural ones. Found a few pretty deep shafts, a nice area that had a nice circle (that you can make in minecraft) indention in the ground, and other weird formations.

not that i know of but what version are you running cus it could be notches dead brother. i forget his name
