What do you remember of Mineplex?
I used to be a regular player on Mineplex. I really enjoy the games they offer and I want to know your experience that you had on Mineplex.
I used to Sweat on a game called Speed Builders. I’m sitting at 1.3k wins on that game. That’s like 120th for lifetime wins. Anyway I always played Speed Builders and that’s where I got the most amount of gems out of any other game. I really enjoyed the cool games they had back in the day like around 2014, the golden age of Mineplex. I used to play a lot of mixed arcade, one in the quiver and super paintball.
Nowadays people you meet on Mineplex are; very sweaty especially cake wars, Noob (completely new to Minecraft), blatant hackers that don’t get banned, and Hypixel haters.
I don’t really have any preference over Hypixel or Mineplex.

Used to play it A LOT in 2014 - 2015. When I started playing again, the server was totally dead, like none of the gamemode I used to play add enough player to start a game ... I loved their event they had at Halloween with all the mobs (always died at the boss part T_T). I used to play a lot of SG, Microbattles, the dragon survival thingy and the teambased game were you had to fight with bow to advanced and build with wool or whatever. Really missed it but I don't know if it can be revived, seeing the number of cheaters.
I see no hope in Mineplex as they only exist now just for profit. Unless if they get new management/investors they ain't reviving and that's just the reality. I'd like for Mineplex to also revive to but the chances of that are virtually little to none.

They still have it but it's under Mixed Arcade. You can still play it as an mps
yea but there's much less people and the community is what counts
Sadly because of the numerous amount of games they had with the decrease of the player base they couldn’t keep up games if they didn’t have players

I love mineplex, I still sorta play but theres a lot of hackers because mineplex doesn't have a way to stop ones like fly especially, I see people flyin all the time. some mineplex buddies told me how they got banned because they beat a mineplex staff and the staff thought they were hacking. I once said I never got muted, someone kept yelling at me to say the n word and I just said " w u t " and got muted and they got banned. Like ??????
I play on mps and try to join people's but they are usually sexist or something and I get kicked like DO U KNOW WHERE THE WHITELIST BUTTON IS? but otherwise its cool, people tell me theres no strat in Dragons but I found one ;)

oh also my sister got banned for 3 hours for running away from someone trying to team with her in survival games

Have you ever seen someone sweat in block hunt, it’s pretty crazy and interesting what kind of strat they use.
im usually on mps so its possible to play the dead games, thats why ive played for 5 years and am level 25 :,)
I like dragons and dragons escape, trying to learn pvp because glads is fun but I stink, cakewars isnt much fun for me because im bad at bedwars, skywars and now cakewars. runner and basically most of the fun minigames

I didn't own Minecraft java back when Mineplex was in it's prime, but I remember I used to watch Captainsparklez play minigames on there with his friends. It's really sad how much the server's died, now i'll try to play a game on there and sometimes I wait for a long time but theres just not enough people to start a game.
The thing is, people expect the games to start quick nowadays because of Hypixel. Waiting for a game was fairly common even in Mineplex’s prime. There were way more games back then.
I wasn't even around in Minecraft when Mineplex was popular. Only started playing singleplayer in 2018 and only recently got into multiplayer so much.
Mineplex used to be the biggest server back in 2014. I grew up playing Minecraft on mineplex

That’s because one of the former devs decided it was a good idea to reset the bans.
I liked when pets came out first time. No other servers had them. They were pretty cool
They had Treasure chests, those were cool back in the day.

I throw people off the island
That’s always some fun. They actually got rid of that feature and made it an Immortal (Highest rank) features. I believe getting thrown off was a bit annoying in the past and nowadays only people who pay for that gets to do that so we don’t have like 20 people all throwing each other causing chaos.

They got rid of the big tree at once point but brought it back due to people wanting it back

That’s a classic, it’s called Dragon Escape. A mighty dragon named Douglass the Dragon goes after you.
