I love them, I think it's really fun to create ones that have tons of different effects. And I don't see why people don't like the new Minecraft, I believe it is because they fear change.

You can still play that way - Don't be so closed-minded. Minecraft is an ever-expanding thing. As long as the new things aren't game-changing, there's no harm. Just ignore the things you don't like/want. Simple as that.

Well the fireworks is something that you will never see such as cobblestone and grass.
