Why do people use mods in HARDCORE mode?
People use mods in Hardcore mode because of these reasons:
1. They suck at Minecraft
2. They just love cheating
3. They don't know what Hardcore means
4. They don't know that when playing in Hardcore it means do it legit
5. They want to show that they are the best (but they are not because they cheat)
6. Mods are addicting
Why should we not use mods in Hardcore?
1. To be pros
2. To not cheat
3. Don't want to be called Noob
4. Hardcore mode means legit mode
5. It is not fun cheating (spoils the fun)
6. Hardcore is meant for dying and restarting
7. Dying means learning a lesson on how to survive more longer
8. Mods are for creative mode not HARDCORE

Hardcore and Mods.
I think the following mods are fine for Hardcore:
Mo's Creatures
Backpack
Elemental Creepers ( Elemental Creepers makes the game have more types of creepers = more challenging.)
Tales Of Kingdoms (For some people who like quests and stuff.)

agreed mr awesome mod man
Obviously, Hardcore just means it's suppose to be a lot harder. Of course, mods like Backpack and Mo' Creepers are fine, but mods like TMI and SinglePlayerCommands just aren't in the sport of it. Of course, if you want to just mess around but with the game trying harder to stop you, I find it fine. Playing Hardcore and just plain out cheating is wrong in my eyes.
