Hello, if you were a minecraft developer for 1 day what new features would you add or what would you improve on.
I'll get the ball rolling, one feature I would definitely improve on is the hunger system, the improvements would include thirst, degrading food, pests attacking crops and also storms flooding farmland.

It would be awesome if there was some way to make mining more interesting. Something like a miner mob that is passive like a villager, possibly tamable, or any other of the endless things that would make the boring mining more interesting.

add combinations of random animals when you bread for example a pig and a sheep would be a shig (a pig with fur coats)

first lets assume i can code java, or they let me fill up the suggestion box here is what i would add
make redstone blocks toggleable like a redstone torch, add blackpowder rifles, make skeletons less accurate and/or shoot slower, make bats drop leather, melons grow in patches like pumpkins, add slingshots, with stone and netherrack ammo, remove Herobrine, add sandwiches, add tomato plants, add large arrows and balista, or some other long range turret type weapon

I would improve the weather and climate system. Add things like foggy days, severe weather like wind storms and Tornadoes. Ice storms. Add snow blocks that actually accumulate.
Earthquakes, Whirlpools would be fun as well.
Maybe..... look into adding seasons as well. Fall would bring of course tree leaves changing color

I would delete all the people who like complaining about Minecraft, the updates, Youtubers, horses, noobs, blocks, and the gameplay. (No this doesn't mean I'd remove the game it means i'd remove all you little complainers.)

I'd add obesity, the more you eat, the fatter you get, then you have to burn off the fat by sprinting, or you'd die.

Ban noobs? Good luck having nobody ever after all of the experienced players quit because they hate you. I would quit minecraft, that's for sure.

(If I knew hot to do it) I'd make a mod hosting thing where all you have to do to install or create a mod is to go into a in-game mod editor/download interface. Kinda like how add ons work in Garry's Mod.

I would chat with Jeb and Dinnerbone about ideas for the PC edition, and then I would put the best ones into action. I would also accept no pay if it was offered to me, because working with/at Mojang is payment enough for me.

First, learn how to code because I know squat about java, then begin adding things that were planned from the beginning like spikes, steel, etc. Make gold picks be able to pick up gold ore, but not iron ore. When all that is done, I'd add just random stuff to the game to mess with the difficulty curve.

I'd be their creative director, giving them all that I understand of what Minecraft needs to fix, as well as all that I can do, at the moment, to give them good ideas to think about. By the end of the day, there would be no telling if I had changed their minds about what Minecraft needs to do in order for it to be great again, but if they would like to hear me out again, then I would welcome them to hire me for more than one day.
I suppose you wouldn't know what I had in mind unless you read this.

The game isn't really realistic, and should NEVER be that realistic! Get mods for that!
But let's face it man minecraft is based around surviving, ye we know it was originally a sandbox but survival is the more dominant aspect of the game.

I would actually add a no lag option that only loads the surface chunks of a world, and not the underground part of the world, because in maps with pvp with no block breaking, loading underground chunks is pointless and would only cause more lag.

- Equator based biomes.
- Eliminate source blocks and add water levels and puddles.
- Physics applied to trees (fall over, not explode or drop down).
- More animals and monsters.
