Worldedit... it has to be updated. It's almost 1.9 time and it still doesn't have the 1.8 release. It's just such a great plugin/mod (mod if you use the worldeditwrapper).

I heard there is gonna be a version for 1.9 as soon as MC 1.9 comes out.

Then the owner of that mod has to contact me, because I can' t and I don' t want to update a mod without permission

I've asked him for permission to do it publicly. He already stated it's fine for private use (No links except PM) but I havent heard back for public use. The mod hasn't been updated since 2013-2014. so I thinks it's gonna be a yes. But I'll send a verification message when he replies.
