Im near enough at the end of the game, and i need a bow and a sword that will do a lot of damage and will be effective against the ender dragon?

ust use a bow. Swords are useless.
If you have a bow with infinity and power 3-5 you can defeat the enderdragon.
Tip:
Put a pumkin on you head or go and stay under a two high thing. Endermans won't/can't attack you then
