You can, but it is highly illegal and it is not recommended.
26$ is expensive for a game like minecraft, Bioshock Infinite is 26$ too (normal, not crack) but it is that much because it gives you a CD, not a account and CD makes more money. But 26$ for a game, it means 26$ for profit. they dont pay for CD or something, just 26$ profit.

Crack is an expensive thing to produce, why sombody is giving it away for free, to cheap 12 year olds who like video games is beyond me.

A Crack Player Can Do just about anything Besides the things on the list below
- Change his skin
- Play on Premium Servers
- Log into Minecraft.net
Most cracked Clients just Trick the Files within .minecraft to think its a Premium account
Which allows the user to use any username on Offline servers
So Pretty Much if the crack client Doesn't associate with the .minecraft files
- It will be able to Run any version
(unless jeb adds a Checker the launcher will need porting)
- and you will be able to mod it like any other Minecraft Version
Why do people even use crack is my Question. Just get the full version and download mods.
Don't use crack kids. It's a horrible thing to do.
I see a lot of people are against cracked players. YES, I know, it's unfair to not pay for a game, but some people are UNABLE to. Like me, I can't spend a single penny in games. So we'll have to bear the risks of playing in cracked servers and waiting for cracked MC devolopers to update their setups whenever MC itself is updated. Of course, there are others intending mischief with their cracked client, but I'd say most of us use cracked because we just can't get prem.
And we do pay back to Mojang and the community, don't worry. I've seen TONS of players in my server buy a premium account when they can afford it (predominantly at birthdays where they get free cash). Otherwise, they wait patiently. And when they do buy MC, they enjoy the nice benefits of having a premium account.
And I've seen premium players with cracked accounts too. If it's a raiding server, maybe they wanna use their identity-switching ability to do some mischief. Or for peaceful reasons in peaceful servers. Of course, most of the time, they'd have to pass the wall of Authme as well.
And people don't usually have more than one premium account, no? Sometimes if they need multiple accounts in a cracked server, they are forced to use a cracked client even though I'm sure they'd love another premium account to play with.
And we can still download mods even when cracked.
I hope I'm not breaking any rules...I don't usually see people disagreeing to those who are against cracked players in topics...

I just thought I should reply to this. If you can't afford a game that does not give you ANY right to get a crack, if you want to play a game then wait until you can afford it, on the other part of this reply if you own the game to being with I guess you can justify getting cracked, but getting cracked when you don't own it is still a bad thing to do.
I guess the only time I can justify getting cracked when you dont own it is when a games in a payed for alpha/beta and you want to see how it's turning out so you can decide to buy it on full release.
