Forge and Optifine

Can I use forge and optifine at the same time? I try to open minecraft on forge with optifine in the mods folder and it just crashed almost immediately. Am I doing something wrong here? And if I were to get pixelmon would I be able to use that and forge or that and optifine, or all three at the same time?

make sure you read the config and update logs for optifine to find a stable version that supports its forge. hope this helps

It seems like you need to download forage, then add optifine to your mods folder.

they should work together, dunno why not.. because i've been using both together since 1.2.5
